My old friend Dylan hit me up to setup a shoot because he had just gotten his coilovers on and was really excited about it. I think his Accord looks GREAT now! I wanted to post up a preview shot from the shoot, and then the original image. If you compare the two you’ll see what sort of photoshop work went into making this shot work!
It’s Good To Be Back!
It’s so weird not putting “Dopeness” in front of the title, I’m just going to have to get used to that for my personal stuff. I just wanted to start this site back up again so I have a place to post my general media stuff. And, well some of my other drift stuff too.
So while I was out shooting my buddy Daniel Nguyen’s Cressida, I managed to take this shot. Super dark and just all around unappealing. I’ve been trying to get into post processing my work more, and this was a perfect start. From one of my previous shots, I had a well lit shot, with birds and a very beach-y feel to it. I really liked it, but, with the playground to the right there happened to be a very large family there. I just wasn’t down to do THAT much post processing, but I really liked the birds. So I went with the next best thing I could think of.
The edits on this shot are really simple, other than just bringing out the details of course! I removed the sign in the back, making the ocean more of the view and on the right side I removed that green bush that I thought took away from the sand. Yeah, the playground is still there, and looking at it now I’m pretty sure I could get rid of it. But, I’m happy with it! Oh, and I really like the birds. Check for the feature on Daniel’s Cressida in the next couple days as well!
